Happiness is the secret to all beauty. There is no beauty that is attractive without happiness. ~ C. Dior

Now.

I'm seeing pink everywhere this spring, from lip and nails to eyes and cheeks. Here are just some of the new and upcoming releases that have caught my eye.
  1. The YSL Ombre de Jour Couture Palette is all about the contrast between feminine charisma and a rebellious spirit. With a shimmering pink, rhinestone encrusted case, the palette contains a matte black with pink sparkles surrounded by a plush camel beige, captivating golden brown, an iridescent champagne and a shocking hot pink. It's perfect for the girl who's not afraid to play with color.
  2. Inspired by Indian palaces, gardens and the traditional sari, the Armani Fuchsia Maharajah Spring 2015 Makeup Collection is all about bright, vivid colors. Done in shades of pink, fuchsia and purple with different textures and finishes, the collection has a rich, luxurious feel. Rouge Ecstasy Lipsticks have my favorite formula, so I may just have to pick these up.
  3. For spring, Guerlain brings us a collection centered around "femininity and a delicate, fragile beauty, featuring soft pastel shades and velvety textures". The collection, which focuses on the Météorites range, includes Météorites Compact Powders in three shades and Météorites Perles de Blush (Angelic Radiance), is meant to enhance a woman's natural beauty. I ordered one of the Météorites Compact Powders, but I'm holding off on the rest - for now.
  4. The star of the Givenchy COLOreCREATION Collection is an illuminating, multi-colored face powder packaged in a whimsical, playful compact. The Le Prisme Visage Color Confetti, uses transparent and luminous pearlescent particles to enhance the complexion and can be used all over the face for an illuminated radiance or on just the cheeks for a subtle lit-from-within glow.
  5. The title of the Burberry Spring/Summer 2015 Makeup Collection is The Birds and the Bees. The collection is all about color, aqua green, rose pink, stone blue, coral red, and the contrast between pastel hues and bold, bright shades. New products include Wet & Dry Silk Shadows, an easy to blend eye shadow, six shades of nail polish and a blush palette embossed with the words 'Rain or Shine'.
  6. This spring, cross the bridge to the castle of Dior. The Kingdom of Colors Collection is a grand collection featuring palettes, blushes, eyeshadows, eyeliners, lipsticks, lip glosses and nail polishes, in shades of pink, green and purple. Giving them a regal feel, palettes, eyeshadows and blushes are embellished with the crest of the house of Christian Dior. You'll be saying Mylord like a Lady in no time.
What has caught your eye lately?

    1. Great picks!
Pinks for spring is so cliche but I think I need at least one good pink eyeshadow palette. I like the look of the YSL quint! :)

    2. Hi Lena,
So true, they are. Usually we tend to see pastel pinks, so it's nice to see some bold, bright colors this spring for a change. I just got the YSL Ombres de Jour Palette - it's stunning.

    4. Hi Ellie,
I am too. It looks so fun and unique. I just hope it makes it's way to the US. So many brands seem to be releasing a lot of products only in certain countries (YSL, Dior, etc) Givenchy isn't a big brand here that their products can be somewhat hard to find. But I'm hoping!
